Recharge

The battery warning pushed Alexandra to the nearest port. Plugging the car in, she browsed her phone. David was waiting in school and Sara at the acting classes. Ten minutes for car charging, she replied automatically. Later wondering why she needed to be so defensive to the kids.

At home, all scrambled for sockets - tabs, phones, groomers, all sorts of pods, and of course, David's new model train. The robot cleaner had thankfully charged itself and was ready for work.

And there were lot many recharges to be done. Phone, wifi, DTH, OTT, and a number of services.

Alexandra was exhausted at the end of the day.

"Honey, let's call the sitter on Saturday." Alexandra pulled the blanket, sliding down next to Peter. "I need to recharge."
